The TELESUB AB-500 is a subsea telemetry system in a pressure-tight housing that transmits, in real time, data from instrumentation operated at depth — CTDs, current meters, assorted sensors — to the surface through the launch system's electromechanical cable.
Installed with the payload, the TELESUB digitizes and multiplexes instrument signals, eliminating the need to recover equipment to read data. At the surface, it integrates with Abyss Datalink for immediate visualization, logging and export. The housing is validated by hydrostatic testing in Abyss's own hyperbaric chamber.
