Description

Relied on by the subsea community for more than 30 years, the SeaBattery is an oil-filled, pressure-compensated battery rated to 11,000 m, so no heavy pressure housing is needed. Its AGM lead-acid cells resist vibration and shock, keep working when inverted and avoid the shipping restrictions of lithium-ion packs. Offered in 12 V, 24 V and 48 V, it is common on landers and as backup power, for example on diving bells.
