Description

Current data underpins operations, fatigue and mooring analyses — and an out-of-calibration sensor compromises entire campaigns. Abyss performs functional and measurement verification of current meters — mechanical (rotor), electromagnetic and acoustic, including ADCP profilers — on a dedicated bench with standardized procedures.

Beyond the test itself, the team performs critical data analysis (validity, drift, noise, structural interference) and diagnoses communication and power failures, with a track record supporting offshore units operating in Brazil. The service integrates with Abyss Datalink and Abyss ROW for continuous measurement-quality monitoring.
