High-performance radio modem and IP router for mission-critical SCADA

Description

RipEX2 is RACOM's flagship radio modem: it covers licensed bands from 135 to 960 MHz, reaches 1.7 Mb/s with adaptive coding and modulation (ACM) and works as both a radio and an IP router. Any unit can act as a repeater, so long over-water paths can be covered without third-party infrastructure. For marine and offshore use, the key points are the die-cast aluminium case with conformally coated boards, −40 to +70 °C operation, optional ATEX certification and native Modbus, DNP3 and IEC 60870-5-101/104 support — the same RipEX platform already used on buoys in the Arabian Gulf and in FSO operations in Australia.
