RipEX2e is built on the RipEX2 platform and runs in the same network and on the same frequency, with a leaner feature set: channels up to 50 kHz, modulation up to 64QAM, two Ethernet ports and no expansion slot. It is a more economical choice for less demanding remote sites — such as RTUs and sensors at coastal points or on buoys — while keeping the family's industrial ruggedness and security.
